Welcome to Adarsha Vidyapeeth, Bholaguri (AVB). The world is changing at an unprecedented pace, the distinction between the local and the global is getting blurred, the sustainability of our planet is being threatened, the development of new technology including AI is outpacing human capabilities to learn and adopt, and the world economy is being threatened by geo-political tensions. At the same time there are unprecedented success stories in technology, innovation, business and economy. In this context schools and other learning institutions must change, adapt and transform. Traditional teaching and learning that focuses on input alone is no more adequate. Today’s children need to respond to demand driven and market driven problems and requirements. Reforms in education policies are precisely trying to address these issues. So how do we prepare children for this increasingly complex world?

The key to school education is the overall development of children which is the founding principle of AVB. Instead of just looking at the present, we nurture potential and future growth while trying to build holistic personalities including that of body, mind and spirit. At the same time, we endeavour to equip children with a diverse set of skills, knowledge and attitudes that will enable them to navigate and thrive in an ever-changing environment. These include among others Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills, Emotional Intelligence, Adaptability and Flexibility, and Collaboration and Communication skills.

In order to bring excellence to our rural and tea garden communities, AVB administration and teachers are continuously trained on modern didactic. We work tirelessly putting the children first, and with a dedication that has become a signature of AVB.
