Adarsha Vidyapeeth is affiliated to the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) for secondary education, and to the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) for higher secondary education. As such we follow the prescribed curriculum of SEBA and AHSEC for secondary and higher secondary education respectively. Due to educational reforms in Assam, both SEBA and AHSEC increasingly align their curricula to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in order for the students to be on par with country wide standards. This is reflected, among others, in the usage of text books and medium of instruction. Increasingly both NCERT and SCERT textbooks are used in secondary and higher secondary curriculum as they complement each other. We are also no longer a purely Assamese medium school as a result of educational and curriculum reform. Today we implement a bilingual curriculum - Assamese and English - at both secondary and higher secondary level. Beyond the prescribed curriculum, we at Adarsha Vidyapeeth also provide appropriate external resources in order to give our students the best possible support.
